Pre-Finals Update

The semester is about to end and well, I'm currently in a state wherein I'm preparing for all the heaviness about to consume me. Amidst the bustle of preparations for the finals and my major academic readjustment that I had to go through this semester, our family also decided to finally end all our connections with our high school environment and move on to a more personal place.

I don't know if this is the reason behind all my sentimental unmotivated state I'm currently wanting to brush off me. This will pass, I'm sure of it. I wanted to jot them down as a means of getting myself to resume my work. Dang, accursed physics exam 8(


I'll resume note-taking as soon as I find the time. For now, I must return to Tensile Stress and all that junk.

Sonnet 18: Tapestry of Quills

In between what time's hands have swept across
Lies a fragment of that one memory
The gears in their vain attempt to be free
Rusted shut to delay the threading loss

Before I rest tonight I'll lay waiting
'Til his arrival marked by lulling song
Waking hours to surrender not for long
Slumber by silvery feathers' brushing

And when the rays claw through the drapery
Kept safe in his smile is a good morning
Waking up to soft melodious humming
Bathing me with sun-melted ear-candy

To sway towards where his wind-spun wings go
A pendant hanging by his breathing soul
